History

This house was built in the 1920’s by Sir Crest, who had just immigrated from Whales and was looking for a place to settle down with his wife and nine children. That name, cherry comes from the cherry trees that used to grow behind the house. The house has remained in the family until 2023 when the Blackman family purchased this house to restore it. When purchased, the house came with some of the original furniture, as well as it’s original sign.
